Yet some social networks someone would like to see in Flock
Hi,
I would love to see support for LinkedIn, Plaxo, and tagged in Flock. Well I guess everybody wants their own more or less widespread social networks in there, but it's worth trying.
What I think you should really take a look at is www.hellotxt.com if offerts the possibility to change the status message across several networks at once and that would be a great addition to Flock!!!

LinkedIn: I would caution that jtekusa's comment should actually say "may be showing up in a future version", but we are looking into LinkedIn.
Plaxo: Anyone else interested in Plaxo? Hit the "I like this idea!" if you're interested.
Hellotxt: I think it's doubtful we'd integrate Hellotxt itself, but the ability to post a status to multiple locations is definitely something we have been and will be contemplating and likely acting on.

Inappropriate?According to a reply to a similar post, Linked-in integration is in work and will be showing up in a future version of Flock (Chris Campbell, 12/30/2008). His final comment was to stay tuned...

Inappropriate?I don't know if these companies allow you to send or receive info but it would be neat to see Zune (microsoft's mp3 player software) and Valve's Steam software.
Zune is an mp3 player software that serves as community to Zune owners. I think the profile thing is kind of weak in it's execution but what flock could do with it could be neat.
More importantly, I would love to see Valve's Steam be able to talk to flock. I have no idea if they would allow this to happen. If you don't know, Steam is a client-side program where you can buy and play games. When you play a game, your friends can see what you're playing and join in with just a few clicks.
