1Password operation via right/ctrl click is not accessible when using multiple Browsa Browsa plugins with Fluid Version 0.9.2.5. Main window works fine, but it doesn't show up in secondary panes.
Fluid apps are awesome! Just wanted to get that out of the way.
Anyway, my question/bug has to do with Google Documents Spreadsheets. When using the arrow keys to jump from cell to cell, each key press jumps 2 cells at a time?!
The latest version of Fluid (0.9) does indeed fix the following bug:
Gmail and Google Reader SSBs no longer spawn empty/unnecessary windows when deferring browsing to the system default browser.
That said I can only get it to work for my regular Gmail account. My Google Apps for Domains Gmail still has the same issue. Just wondering if there is a setting I'm missing or if I need to reinstall Fluid to fix or is this a bug fix that is upcoming.

I want to be able to specify that certain URLs, while not allowed to this SSB, should be sent to another SSB of my choosing instead of the default web browser. For example, I have an SSB for Gmail and one for our bug reporting application, I'd like links in emails from that system to open up in my bug reporter SSB, instead of in Safari.
I'd like Facebook Chat features built-in. This was mentioned on the Flickr group page, but basically you put the pop-out URL in for Facebook chat and use that as the primary chat tool. However, there is no way to know if you have a new message — a dock badge (listing the number of unread messages) or at least Growl support to let you know you have a new message would rock!
If I had the slightest clue how to go about doing this, I would do it myself. I'm just not sure my JavaScript skills are that up to par.
Is it possible to have Fluid Gmail open during startup, but have it hidden so a new window doesn't open, that way badge notifications of how many new email are in your inbox is displayed in the dock?
In other words, I'd like to have Fluid Gmail serve as a replacement for Google's Gmail Notifier, that way I can have my notifications in the dock like Apple's Mail application. The Gmail Notifier open during startup and displays the number of unread emails and notifies you when new messages arrive.
When I click a link in Gmail, if makes an empty/unnecessary fluid window for just a split second and then closes it, before opening the link in my default browser (Safari). It seemed like it was going to be fixed in a software update, but I'm up to date, and it hasn't been.
The Thumbnail plugin is using the wrong urls for me. It's trying to use urls like "http:/default.asp?pg...." instead of "http://domain.com/default.asp?pg.."
Your answer in the FAQ on you main site seems fairly specious to me. Fluid is such an easy platform to use it seems perfectly logical to use for a web company to want to provide a specialized SSB for their product. Having a user go to your site and learn what fluid is and how to use it is too large of a barrier for some.
I can understand the want for recognition, you certainly deserve it, but it seems like there are better ways than preventing redistribution. Launch each SSB with a splash screen prominently displaying "Powered by Fluid!", embed a donation link in the menus for your own work. Even much more would entirely acceptable given the utility of the app.
Why can't I take Fluid and create an SSB packaged with all sorts goodies and user scripts that provides a kick ass browsing experience for, as an example, google reader and send that around to my friends?
Not sure if you can help much on this, but I created a SSB for MyMileMarker.com since they have a great iPhone app. Apparently they're doing something tricky with their stylesheet so that the app doesn't load with the iPhone stylesheet:
Since updating to fluid 9.1.3 if I have a fluidapp running and switch space with ctrl+arrow key or F8 I get massive visual lag. It seems the more fluidapps I have open the more lag I get.
I have a macbook pro latest gen, 4gb ram and the 2.6 ghz.
As soon as I turn all the fluidapps of I have zero lag doing the same actions.
I have a SSB setup for Stafftool.com and I'm trying to figure out how to set it up so mailto links are linked to my gmail account. Currently it launches Mail but I don't use that for email. I'd like it to open up a gmail compose message window instead.
After an SSB has been hidden and then restored, the text cursor is no longer visible when focus is moved to a text input or textarea.
This seems to be Fluid-specific, and is not a problem in Safari. Furthermore, it is particular to hiding an SSB, and does not happen when minimizing and then restoring the window.
I've found this problem in both 0.9.2.4 and 0.9.2.5 using LiveTimer, although it's not particular to this app. However, please let me know if you'd like a free LiveTimer account to check this out.
