Recently active topics in Fluid

I have a folder called ~/Applications where I create new Fluid apps. When I create a new app, if I pull down the "Location" box and select ~/Applications, when I release the control it points to the wrong place. Doing it twice seems to fix it.

I want to have a directory with a few TiddlyWiki files in it, and create a Fluid instance that points at it. I don't want to have to create index.html. It would be nice for Fluid to be able to give me a directory listing for file: urls that point to directories.

Not sure if it's intended but the dialogs given by SSB's (for example to confirm closing a window with several tabs) show the generic application icon, now (in 0.9.2.2).

It happens in both new and updated SSB's. FWIW.

When I switch a window to full screen, it becomes impossible to go back (even after having switched to windowed mode again). Then, pressing cmd-left_arrow or selecting the menu item History > Back does nothing, if the toolbar is enabled the Back button is disabled, and if the page contains a history.back() javascript (for ex. <input type="button" value="Back" onClick="history.back();">) it doesn't work either.

Obviously I couldn't try the forward function, but it probably doesn't work either.

Repro:
1. Switch to full screen
2. Click a link
3. Try to go back

This is in 0.9.2.2 on a MBP.

Repro:
1. Launch a SSB with several tabs (I don't think the tabs matter, but that's my situation).
2. Open another window in that SSB, and load some page in it.
3. Switch that second window to full sreen and back to windowed mode.
4. Look for the first window: it's has been closed. It reproduces each time here.

To whoever might want to try it: if your first window has several tabs and if the SSB is set to restore the last session, don't just quit it at this point or you'd lose your tabs. Use force quit instead.

I"m trying to delete the .Mac browser I created with Fluid. I wanted to delete the app from my Applications folder where I put it, but it doesn"t seem to be there. Did I make a mistake naming it ".Mac"? Is it the "." that keeps me from finding it? The plist is there. And a folder named Mac is in the Application Support folder for Fluid. But everytime I click on Show in Finder after clicking on the open .Mac app in the dock, the Finder window doesn"t show it anywhere. I guess I should have named it MobileMe anyway. I hope you can help. Thanks.

I was updating my SSBs and ran into this little bug consistently for every SSB that had multiple tabs open:

Series of events:
- Open old SSB version
- Automatic alert of update (very nice new version, by the way)
- Download and install
- Relaunching application
- Receive dialog alerting me to the fact that I have multiple tabs open and asking me if I wish to proceed (normal behavior)
- Click "Close" button (everything is fine and dandy so far)
- SSB quits
- First SSB launch (this throws an error when it tries to close itself automatically)
- Second SSB launch

In addition to the error dialog, it is displaying the normal "multiple tabs open" alert dialog, so I'm guessing that somehow the "first relaunch" of the SSB encounters that when it tries to close itself and doesn't know what to do with those extra tabs.

("Picture 5.png" in the sidebar of Preview shows the two icons side by side in the dock. I did not encounter any problems aside from the fact that the first "SSB" didn't know what to do with multiple tabs when it tried to quit itself).

Let me know if I need to explain better. This whole thing isn't really a big deal, and you may already know all about it, but I thought I'd let you know anyways.

Awesome work on the update! (I'm especially fond of the fact that "Block Popups" and "Only Accept Cookies..." are set by default. Kudos =)

When quitting a Fluid SSB and a javascript dialog pops up, there is an error. At first the popup is not seen, and then OK and Cancel have no effect. I have to force-quit Fluid.

More specifically, I am using MonkeyGTD as a local file:///Users/foo/gtd.html. Create a new tiddler. Don't save. Quit. In a browser, Javascript says "unsaved changes, click OK to quit anyway or cancel". In Fluid, this popup isn't seen at first, and then OK and Cancel have no effect, the dialog does not go away.

My muxtape SSB is displaying the individual mixes in coverflow, but the titles are not displayed within them. This kind of ruins the functionality.

It seems as thought the creator of muxtape may have been playing with the html to disrupt downloading of songs, and it may have changed what the thumbnail url pattern should be.

Any ideas? Anyone else noticed this?

Google Reader runned under fluid does not use its setting Settings/Preferences/Start Page.

Scenario to reproduce:
1) Create label "work-safe" and put some rss feed into it.
2) Set Start Page to "work-safe"
3) Open Google Reader using fluid
4) Switch view to "All items"
5) Exit from Google Reader
6) Open Google Reader again

I suppose, that:
Google Reader shoud be open with "work-safe" label

But in reality it:
Google Reader opens with "All items" tab

I suppose, that I am right and not fluid cause:
In Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer it were working fine

It is definitely bothers me, cause in previous I used Safari and all things were working fine.

I set up my grandma with Fluid on gmail. Unfortunately, we had to switch back because she likes to print out emails and printing them through Fluid messed up the formatting on the page. The text ran off the end and was partly cut off before wrapping back onto the next line.

Web forms don't "submit" when in full screen mode it seems, is this a known issue?
