The dock icon badge is working well with Gmail, but when I convert to a MenuExtra there's no visible notification of unread emails. Is it possible to set the MenuExtra icon from within a userscript?
Maybe this is intentional, but it seems like a bug. If you have an app that specifies both an apple touch icon and a fluid-icon, it defaults to the apple touch icon. Given that fluid-icon is high res, it seems that should be the default if available.
Any way to manually specify an icon for a Menuextra SSB? Editing the appl.icns in Resources doesn't seem to do anything, trace looks like it's grabbing the favicon from the site every time the app is loaded.
Not sure if it's intended but the dialogs given by SSB's (for example to confirm closing a window with several tabs) show the generic application icon, now (in 0.9.2.2).
I keep my dock on auto hide, and it would be great to have the option to have the app icon bounce once or twice when the Dock Badge label is updated. Sometimes my sound is off (for Campfire), and a single or double bounce would be an awesome way to get my attention when the status has changed. Obviously many people might find this annoying, so the user should be able to turn it on or off.
Absolutely love the product. Keep up the good work!
Thought I'd mock this up to give you a better idea of the concept, but rather than pick from "use favicon" and a dropdown-to-filepicker combo, I thought a visual approach would be better... I also thought that, if I put in a URL, hit tab, you could auto-fetch the favicon or iPhone icon from the site and put it in the well so I could preview it and then find an alternative if the default sucks.
