Minor annoyance bug: In a MenuExtra SSB with multiple tabs open:
After you switch between tabs, you can drag in the lower right corner of the status bar, and it's the same operation as drag/move a tab.(to reorder, etc)
Feature request:
- “Lock tabs”: save opened tabs and prevent them from being closed (and reopen them all on startup, whatever happened during the previous session)
exemple: I create a new Fluid app called "MyMails" where I open 2 tabs: gmail + google apps mail. I would like the option to "lock" these tabs, meaning they can't be closed, or deleted, or whatsoever, and thus reopened + loaded upon startup of the app.
If you use an application like Google Docs, this will open new documents in tabs instead of new windows. Since using Fluid as a site-specific browser for Google Apps is a pretty common use case, it would be great if Fluid respected this flag too.
The one advantage Firefox has over Fluid is that it allows me to set a preference so new pages open in a new tab rather than a new window. I find this incredibly useful in Google Docs, among other places.
Recently, I noticed that when I use the Fluid app for something like Gmail, it is simply opening up a new tab in Firefox, rather than staying as a single "App" in it's own window. So, I launch "Gmail" and it launches in a separate window properly. But when I enter my user and password credentials, and hit "enter", it opens up in a new tab, in Firefox. Any ideas?
Seems like when you open multiple tabs in a SSB and then try to close them it only works if you select the tab on the furthest right. Otherwise it actually ads another tab.
