9.2.1 appl.icns not showing
I did notice your blogpost about icons not showing as they should.
But what Im experiencing is when using appl.icns in the resource folder Im not getting the icon on the ssb in anyway. Be that remove the app from the dock or do the "jiggle the handle".
Only one SSB acually shows the correct icon when highlighted in the applications list. None of the others do.

Inappropriate?Resolved! I used the pref menu to change the icon istead of placing it in the resource folder manually.
I’m done!

Inappropriate?I've had the icons for two SSBs disappear: Gmail and Gcal. It doesn't show up in the dock after "jiggling the handle" and it doesn't show up in the Finder.
Really not a huge deal, since we can now change the icon easily, but you should know about it nevertheless.
I’m a bit perturbed

Inappropriate?Just for anyone else having a problem: I had to use the preferences to replace the icon twice. The first time I did it, an error message came up:
Error creating Application Icon
"appl.icns" could not be removed.
I tried a second time, and got the message to restart the SSB. Restarted and no icon. Jiggled the handle and I have an icon!
