"Operation could not be completed. Operation not permitted" - Whats wrong?
I keep getting this same problem. I enter the following in the fields -
URL - www.facebook.com
Name - Facebook
Location - Applications
Icon - Its the facebook icon from the flickr pool.
Yet I constantly keep getting the
"Could Not Create New Web Application
Operation could not be completed. Operation not permitted."
I would love to use this app but for the 2 weeks I keep trying to get it to work, it doesnt. Any help?

Inappropriate?hi joey, some advice:
1. delete your copy of Fluid and re-download the latest version (JIC)
2. Change the "Location" field to point to your home directory (/Users/<your-username>)
I suspect you are not running as an administrator and therefore do not have permission to write to /Applications. IOW, this is not a Fluid bug.
After you create the app in your home directory, you can copy it wherever you want and enter your password then to verify the move.

oh, and dont be angry! fluid is free! -
Inappropriate?I had this problem too. I had copied the downloaded fluid app to another partition before running it and I was trying to create an app on that partition. In the end I closed fluid and ran it from my desktop where it had been downloaded to. Then it worked :)
I’m thankful
