Badges for Basecamp?

I know you've been probably asked this like a thousand times, but is there any way to get dock badges for Basecamp? Particularly if there's a new to-do, message or file uploaded. Doesn't matter for what project, just a general warning across all projects you're involved in.
Or if not badges at least a Growl notification.
