Is there a way to disable the built-in scripts for my facebook instance?
I'm developing a userscript that allows a user to set preferences for what gets included in the badge count (messages, notifications, friend requests, updates, etc.) and growl notices (chat, notifications, etc), but the built-in scripts are resetting my badge etc.

Inappropriate?yes look under General Prefs:
General -> Fluid attempts to set Dock badge labels
uncheck that and it wont try to set the dock badge automatically anymore
