Facebook Chat Integration
I'd like Facebook Chat features built-in. This was mentioned on the Flickr group page, but basically you put the pop-out URL in for Facebook chat and use that as the primary chat tool. However, there is no way to know if you have a new message — a dock badge (listing the number of unread messages) or at least Growl support to let you know you have a new message would rock!
If I had the slightest clue how to go about doing this, I would do it myself. I'm just not sure my JavaScript skills are that up to par.

Inappropriate? You can totally create a Fluid Facebook Chat SSB now... nothing stopping you. use this url:
http://www.facebook.com/presence/popo...
as for dock badges and growl notifications... that's a job for a userscript. still hoping someone will put one together! anyone?
If you do, write a blog post, and I'll send you all the traffic i can and try to help with diggs too. -
Inappropriate?Haha, like Todd said, who ever pulls it off will get a lot of traffic from Digg-users.
I’m amused

Inappropriate?Hi all, I spent a just few minutes on this but quickly got bored... (not so into JavaScript these days)... I've posted what I've done so far at the URL below. It kinda works, but has not been thoroughly tested at all. It prolly has bugs.
Anybody wanna clean/finish it up?

Inappropriate?Hi,
Here's an initial release which enables Facebook chat notifications via Growl. I'm working on the badges but wanted to get some feedback on the work so far.
