file:// that leads to directory should show index
I want to have a directory with a few TiddlyWiki files in it, and create a Fluid instance that points at it. I don't want to have to create index.html. It would be nice for Fluid to be able to give me a directory listing for file: urls that point to directories.

Inappropriate?hi rjbs, i'll be honest, this is not likely to be something I'll add.. simply because it's so easy to set this up with a local webserver... i would drop the dir into your ~/Sites directory and point your SSB at that. then you can get the index stuff for free from apache.

Inappropriate? There's a problem with that: I want to use this for editing a TiddlyWiki, which must be loaded with file:/ to be editable. It works by saving over the file on disk. If I use my local httpd, it gets a http:// href, which won't be saveable.
I can just generate an index manually once in a while, but I at least want it to be clear why an httpd isn't an answer. -
Inappropriate?oic. well, i'll be candid. I'm not going to add this feature.. it sounds to me like something tiddlyWiki should offer or that you should hook up yourself... it doesnt make sense to me to make this part of fluid. and i def. dont have time to do it anyhow :0[
