Gmail Links Empty Fluid Window (split second only)
When I click a link in Gmail, if makes an empty/unnecessary fluid window for just a split second and then closes it, before opening the link in my default browser (Safari). It seemed like it was going to be fixed in a software update, but I'm up to date, and it hasn't been.

Inappropriate?sorry you're annoyed by this, but talk to google. Gmail and some of their other properties use a very crappy JavaScript popup script to spawn new windows, and this is the side effect. Just be glad that Fluid disposes of this window for you... originally, Fluid would end up with a bunch of empty windows due to Google's script. what you;re seeing is the side effect of the work around.
unless google changes, this is here to stay. (and should be considered a feature, not a bug) -
Inappropriate?since I was never around before the fix (feature : ), I didn't know that is was a patch. Now that I know, (and esp. now that I know it's google's fault), I find it much less annoying.
Thanks for the response.
For the record, I was only annoyed in a light-hearted 'this is freeware and awesome but I might as well bring it up since there is such a good system in place for comments'.
Thanks for the feedback and the great app! I'm excited about the updates.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Well, it seems that's actually fixed now, so if you have the Gmail script created by Todd (like I did) simply disable/delete it and everything works fine.
I’m happy
