How to have gmail handle mailto links?
I have a SSB setup for Stafftool.com and I'm trying to figure out how to set it up so mailto links are linked to my gmail account. Currently it launches Mail but I don't use that for email. I'd like it to open up a gmail compose message window instead.

Inappropriate?The easiest way that I have of doing this is to use Firefox, first of all, and navigate to Tools>Options>Applications. Next, search for mailto and assign Gmail instead of Outlook. Hope this helps -

This sets the default for all mailto links (except in cases, such as Firefox, where you can override it within the app).It will likely not help if you need to specify different SSBs to handle mailto differently.
