Gmail gives issues if I have firefox 3 beta 5 installed. It tells me that the certificate is invalid.

Inappropriate?Hi Girish,
support for invalid certificates is really not there in fluid, and is not on the top of the priority list at the moment. one workaround exists... visit the site in Safari, and select 'Always trust' when asked if you want to trust the invalid cert.
now you should be able to visit the site in Fluid. (i've heard it may not work the first time you try... so refresh a few times or restart/ quit, etc).

Inappropriate?Thanks todd.
But gmail's certificate isn't invalid. In safari I can goto the website, I'm logged in... but the fluid gmail app still says:
Load Failed
Reason : untrusted server certificate
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? The "Safari Trick" isn't working for me with a self-signed certificate. Just adding a vote to certificate processing - it's not necessarily just gmail.

Inappropriate?yep firefox beta 3 don't like the gmail log in screen too much, say's my password is wrong but it works fine with camino and safari, I guess that's why they call it Beta.

Inappropriate? So after more tinkering with the safari certificate acceptance, I've made a bit of "progress". Now when I create the fluid app, fluid says 'you need a password to access this page (which is true), enter it now' And I enter it. But the SSB still gives the bad certificate error when it runs.
So somehow the fluid app creator can get past the certificate issue, but the SSB cannot?
