Overwriting an SSB doesn't change the URL
So I create a new SSB with the wrong url (http://bearbrook.grouphup.com), name it Basecamp, and launch it. Server can't be found, and I realize there's a typo in the URL. So I create a new SSB with the right url (http://bearbrook.grouphub.com, note the b instead of the p), and overwrite the first SSB. I launch the new SSB, and it's still trying to go to http://bearbrook.grouphup.com (note the p). Try it a few more times, still does it.
Using a different SSB name (so, not overwriting the first SSB) links to the correct URL, and deleting the first SSB before creating the new SSB also works fine.

Inappropriate?hi mark, this is not a bug actually, but rather expected behavior. when you delete an ssb, you do not delete the ssb's preferences. like all apps, an ssb's prefs are located in ~/Library/Preferences. That's actually a nice feature cuz it allows you to choose whether to delete prefs along with an ssb or not.
now... the reason the old homepage is still loading is the 'session restore' feature. the open windows and tabs are stored every time you quit the ssb, and restored on the next launch. all you have to do is just click the home toolbar button... the ssb would not load the broken page on next launch.
