Provide help system integrated with Satisfaction?

Imagine that the search actually searches Satisfaction through their API, and clicking the Help link would just open the Satisfaction system from within the Fluid instance. That'd rock!
The more people who like this idea, the more it gets noticed.

Inappropriate?I really do like that idea, but shouldn’t the help menu reflect the “application” that is currently running? Probably a possibility to get help in there via javascript would be quite neat, if it’s possible to provide the needed data in that form.

Oh yeah, exactly. Each app would get to set its own Help location -- I'm just suggesting STFN because they have an API already. It wouldn't be Fluid help topics, it would be unique to each app's SSB. -
Okay, that makes sense :) -
Inappropriate?cool idea chris! I think kind of a hybrid approach might be nice... I'm actually working on adding standard help support to fluid (thru the help menu)... I've already got a couple of html documents explaining different features... just need to drop them into the app bundle and hook up an index page to get standard os x help up and running.
however, when you do a search in Fluid help, it would be nice to at least use the satisfaction api to do a search and include links to the satisfaction site topics in the search results along with the local search results (with some kind of icon indicating the difference)
clicking a satisfaction link would take you to the website in your system default browser. i like this idea... number one, make i so!
I’m excited
