Seems that the unread count for Google Reader is rarely correct. Is this updated on a configurable timer?

Inappropriate?Hey Todd -- thanks for the help with this issue. However, one thing that's a bit annoying is that the counter only works if the instance is open or hidden. If close the window (but leave the app running), then the counter will not be "refreshed" until the next time a new window is opened. Thanks!
