User Interface Improvements which would be great
It would be great if Fluid woud support the following things:
* Change the Application Icon from within a existing FluidInstance (without total recreation)
* A simple entry in the Window menu which would resize the width of the window to iPhone resolution (some apps don't perform properly if the window is too wide)
* especially for the MenuExtra: a Setting to auto-refresh the page every 1/5/10/15 minutes
* Don't download the update for every single SSB from scratch, look if it is available on the disk somewhere first?
* A setting where the title bar is removed too (was mentioned in the mailing list before)

Inappropriate?Hi Hannes. honestly, I'm luke warm on most of these..
* Change the Application Icon from within a existing FluidInstance (without total recreation)
yes, this is coming.
* A simple entry in the Window menu which would resize the width of the window to iPhone resolution (some apps don't perform properly if the window is too wide)
this can be done with a bookmarklet. I'm not really into this feature.... prolly won't add
* especially for the MenuExtra: a Setting to auto-refresh the page every 1/5/10/15 minutes
maybe.... this can be done very easily with a simple userscript. not sure if i want another way to do this...
* Don't download the update for every single SSB from scratch, look if it is available on the disk somewhere first?
this has been discussed at length... and i've decided that the current update scheme is the least sucky of several sucky options. not changing.
* A setting where the title bar is removed too (was mentioned in the mailing list before)
i dont understanding? -
Inappropriate? With the last point I meant somehow to remove the title bar and the three buttons there. Like Alex Cabrera mentioned on the mailing list: "What I'm trying to do place the SSB under the desktop, durn down the
opacity in the preferences, and remove the close button so I don't
accidentally quit the application."
I think that would be a nice feature for some of the visualizing webapps (http://twistori.com/, http://marumushi.com/apps/newsmap/new..., etc.)
Concerning the bookmarklet: Sorry to go on your nerves with that :) Unfortunately, I don't know how to write that...
Refresh-userscript: If that's simple, maybe you should think about "packaging" some userscripts with the app.
Update-thingy: yeah, another idea:
Change the Fluid.app so that you also could load an existing Fluid Instance app file and recreate/update it that way?
I simply do not want to download it 10 times. Current alternative is do update Fluid.app and recreate all my other instance apps, which is a bit annoying/complicated...
I’m sad

Inappropriate? Here, use this bookmarklet for your iPhone resizing pleasure:

Just drag it to your fluid bookmark bar.
I’m happy
