Using multiple Google accounts in Fluid?
Is there a way to use multiple Google accounts with Fluid?
I have my Gmail account and a Blogger account that uses a different email address. In order to use one, I have to log out of the other. Using separate browsers solved this before Fluid but now I want to use both apps in Fluid simultaneously.
Any ideas?

Inappropriate? You probably can't do that, since Fluid's just using the cookies in Safari, as far as I understand. Is there any way you could merge your accounts?

Inappropriate?i figured it out!
while searching for another preference, I noticed that you can specify the User Agent. by default Fluid automatically chooses this for you and it picks the default browser on your system.
i changed the User Agent for Blogger to Firefox and now I'm able to use both accounts with Fluid. this is also a useful tip for Hotmail users because it is optimized for Firefox. now i can create a Hotmail app without losing functionality!!
I’m excited

Inappropriate? It would be woderful if there were another way to do this. I have 3 Blogger acconts all using different e-mails. I was hoping that Fluid would solve the problem of having to log out of one to get into another. I would love to have 3 Fluid apps one for each Blog. I'll try the user agent trick, but it seems like there should be a more elegant way to do this.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem...I want to use fluid with multiple google apps email accounts...but every time I log into one it logs them both in. How can I try using the firefox cookie jar for one of them?

Inappropriate?i think this might have broken with subsequent updates. even though i've changed the user agent, i'm no longer able to login to multiple Google accounts.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Too bad. I also tried this workaround just now – even with two different Fluid versions (0.9.2.5 and 0.9.3), but both SSBs still seem to use the same cookie. Nonetheless I fell in love with Fluid. The Internet feels different now – it's closer to me since it became a part of my digital desktop.
I’m happy nonetheless.

Inappropriate?I'm not sure this solves your problem, because it only addresses multiple GMail accounts, but... Mailplane: http://mailplaneapp.com/
I’m happy to offer help

Inappropriate?Thank you for the hint. That's an interesting application with some nice extras like drag'n'drop. I will test drive it for 30 days now.
Unfortunately switching between two accounts does take a moment as it logs you off the one and into the other account instead of keeping the two open at a time. On the other hand it keeps you up to date when a mail arrives in any of the accounts even in the background, so one might not have to switch very often
I’m thankful.

Inappropriate?the only thing I could do to figure this out was to set the agent of one account to Firefox and set the other agent to Safari. There is an agent for IE and Opera, so essentially you could do up to four accounts. hope that helps. It works great for me.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Thank god they fixed this for Google Apps for Domains. They set cookie paths properly so they are mapped to the domain's apps path. Thank you, Google. You are terrifying but occasionally do awesome shit.
I’m thankful
