Inappropriate?Microsoft just released Service Pack 1 for .NET 3.5. Flypaper requires .NET 3.5 for a number of features --especially for improving the connection from the desktop application to the web-based community. In most cases Flypaper works well with Microsoft .NET 3.5 Service Pack 1 -- except one.
If you install Microsoft .NET 3.5 and Service Pack 1 before installing Flypaper, the Flypaper installer will prompt: "You need to update to Microsoft .NET 3.5..." The solution is to uninstall .NET SP1 (in some cases you may have to re-install .NET 3.5). The links on Flypaper.com point to the correct install of .NET 3.5, or you can get it here..
At the end of the .NET install you are prompted to get all updates from Microsoft, make sure not to accept the Service Pack 1 update for .NET 3.5 before you install Flypaper. Once Flypaper is installed and operating correctly, you can update to Service Pack 1.
We are working on the issue and will have a new installer that works well with Service Pack 1 available soon. -
Inappropriate?Yes will be good to be fixed.. just .NET 3.5 SP1 seems to only download/install and is quite a large download to do again.
Look forward to the fix.. really want to try Flypaper
Thanks!

Inappropriate? With the new installer we released on Saturday, Sept. 13, this issue is resolved. Flypaper should install just fine with .net 3.5 and SP 1.
Thanks
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Just uninstalled .Net 3.5 and rebooted and reinstalled Flypaper. Still have the same problem---Flypaper crashes at launch or after it is installed. I've tried this routine and variations of it several times.
I’m frustrated

Also, I uninstalled Sliverlight. -
Also, completely uninstalled 3.5 and hotfixes. -
Inappropriate?Instructions are vague regarding this problem of .net. They need to be more clear. Having same issues.
I’m NOT HAPPY

Inappropriate? One reason that may cause this issue is attempting to install on a 64bit operating system. At this time we do not support 64bit operating systems. However we are working diligently on this and expect to release a 64bit compatible version soon.
If this is not the issue I would recommend contacting Flypaper support they have access to tools that can quickly diagnose the issue. http://www.flypaper.com/support/
