web story as part of a web page
How do I control the output size of a web story. I'd like the story to be in middle of page with other web content. This is a problem on a few fronts:
1. One when I embed the page I don't necessarily want controls at the bottom. Are they removable? I don't necessarily want my clients to embed at that point.
2. Why can't I get the embed code when I publish? I know it's a web story then.
3. If my story is smaller than the default page size how do I control it if it just a part of my web page?

Inappropriate?Hi,
All the things you are wanting to do, can be done in Flypaper.
1. Flyplayer Controls -- These can be turned on and off by using the check box at the bottom of the window that appears when you choose to Save as a Web Story.
2. Embed Code -- To get the Embed Code after you publish, go to http://account.flypaper.net/ and log in. Look for you Story in your account and Preview it. The embed code will be on this screen.
3. Story Image Size -- you can adjust the size of your story by using the controls that are in the box that appears when you choose to Save as a Web Story.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Inappropriate?Am I limited to the aspect ratio of the screen? Look at my example.I'm trying to embed it into a zone within my web page, but the design in only half the page vertically. So unless my design uses the whole page, the sizing option on size is useless. Classic 2/3 to 1/3 design doesn't seem possible.
Oh if I turn on the controls, I get the terrible start animation arrow. Can I just tell it to autostart?
BTW I updated it so I lost a third of the face image so I could use the scale option. I think having a custom output scale option would be most beneficial. As well as an option to autostart and and option to get the embed code after save in complete would be really worthwhile.

Inappropriate?Flypaper is designed to work in a 4:3 aspect ratio. The best thing to do here is to come up with your own variation of the design that makes best use of that size. People are going to view your site with different monitors and window sizes. I would not worry so much about the relative amounts of space to each size that is left in your page, but make the layout look good just the way it is.
As to the start arrow, one way to get rid of it is to load Flypaper on your own servers and run it from there.
Let us know if you have further questions.
