Inappropriate? To publish to your own server you will need to save as and use the save type ‘Web Project’.
If you attempting to view your story from these file on your desktop or local and you can not get it to work you may have a Flash Permissions issue.
The best way to fix this is to run the procedure below on a "Test Folder", then use that folder as a staging area on all web stories. Just copy the files from inside the web story folder into the test folder.
1) Run the index.html
2) Right-click on the white screen and choose Settings. (the Adobe Flash Player settings dialog should appear)
3) At the bottom of the dialog, Select the second icon from the left (the screen with the eyeball)
4) The privacy settings come up. Click the Advanced button.

11) Run index.html again, and the content should appear.
