Foursquare + Brightkite = Awesomeness?
How about using Brightkite feeds to pickup my check-ins automatically? That would be awesome, because I could check in with Brightkite and still have the tips/to-dos/points/awesomeness of foursquare. If I check in with some other geo-locating social network, foursquare would pick up the feed and send me texts telling me what is awesome in the area and I don't have to check in with more than one service.
Of course, the reverse could also be true; Send foursquare checkins to Brightkite.
For me, the checking in and seeing who's around thing has been done. What makes foursquare awesome is the "urban mixtape" concept.
What I'm really looking for is one-stop shopping for location-based social networking. The feeds and stuff seem to be there just waiting to be all tied together.

Inappropriate? The APIs are there. Correct me if I'm wrong but there's no reason why it couldn't be a third-party service, right?
I’m unsure

Inappropriate?I hacked up my own app to do this. It only supports updating my own accounts, but the source is available should anyone wish to hack on it or make something of their own based on my code:

I started off trying to automatically check in to both, but found that there's enough differences in naming of places between BrightKite and FourSquare that it works better to have the user interactively choose the matching item from FourSquare after first finding a place on BrightKite.
This was just a Sunday hack for my own use and certainly not a proper solution. I'd love to see a polished app for doing this.
