Reporting User abusing system/ruining User Interaction
Is there any way to report a user abusing the experience? I'm in the Denver area and there is a user who has over 800+ check ins in a short time. At one point, I was in a bar with only my friends and we stole the mayorship from him - only to have him "check in" immediately after even though there was no one else in the bar. It's ruining the experience here and we want to do something about it. What can we do? (I can email the user's name in private - no need for a public cry)

Inappropriate?Yeah, this is a problem... the good news is that we're tracking all this and pretty close to being able to prevent it.

Inappropriate?Thanks Dennis (Awesome product BTW).
Me and a few other superusers have taken steps to police this ourselves (merging separate rooms in his house and work) but being the mayor and competing over it is such a fun sport - even with strangers - that it stinks when one person takes it away from people. Competing for mayor has helped my group of friends meet new people and it's such a great part of it - but we've been somewhat crippled by it.
Thanks for the fast response. -
Inappropriate?I've found a cheater. How do I report this privately? Or am I forced to announce their cheating publicly to the world?
I’m frustrated

Why not announce it publicly? If you're really concerned for some reason, you can try reaching out to the team: team@foursquare.com
