Syndicated Feeds?
Have you any RSS or Atoms to feed us? Something we could add to our personal lifestream, per se? I think this is a great idea and I'd like to share the love of it with others with some RSS love.

Inappropriate?I agree, I'd really love to bring in the stuff on the home page (new mayors, new users, popular tips).
I'd also use feeds showing
* new venues, particularly to correct them if they have typo's.
* newly added tips (since the popular ones probably won't change much) -
Inappropriate?on your profile page, click where it says Feed and it will take you to a page with the urls for your private feed.

Inappropriate?private feeds are lame. I want to publish a public feed of my activity such as
http://foursquare.com/user/jbond/acti...
And there should be an RSS feed of my friends public activity. Something like
http://foursquare.com/user/jbond/frie...

Inappropriate?we'll think about giving users some setting that can turn the private feed url into a public one that has a friendly url like the one in your first example (we've found that most users don't want this data getting out which is why it's not publicly enabled by default)
for now, have you tried something like andrew's wordpress plugin? he basically allows you to take these private feeds and make them public on your blog http://andrewmager.com/foursquare-wor...
to answer your second question, i don't think we'll make a friends activity feed public. if i'm your friend, i don't necessarily want to give you permission to spread my location data everywhere
I’m silly
