1.2.0 update not working w/ Safari 4 beta
Latest update (v 1.2.0) breaks Safari 4 beta. I get a "Cannot load Xmarksplugin plugin" error, and a SIMBL error when launching Safari - which then crashes and requires a force-quit of Safari.

Thanks for this information! We have a new test build that should fix this. Can you please try the following and let us know if it works for you?

Inappropriate?Same problem here. I just update to v1.2.0. Once I open Safari 4, it freezes and shows the error message as above...SIMBL Error.
-
Inappropriate?I've determined that you can still use Xmarks for Safari if you turn off the two features in the "Discovery" tab of the Xmarks for Safari prefs panel. Bookmark syncing still works, and Safari works as normal once you do so.
Not sure if this is truly a SIMBL-related problem or what, because it just started happening with the latest update to Xmarks
I’m indifferent

Inappropriate?I'm sorry to hear about this problem! We tested against Safari 4 beta, and did not run into this problem. What version and build of Safari 4 are you using? Also, is anyone running into this problem in Safari 3, or is this just Safari 4?
Could someone please do us a favor, and try the following:
- Go to the "Discovery" tab
- Enable "Enable Smarter Search", but disable "Enable Site Info"
- Quit Safari
- Start Safari
Does Safari start up ok? -
Inappropriate?@chuck:
I enabled smarter search and disabled site info, then Safari worked fine.
But when I enable site info, whether smarter search is enabled or not, the problem returns.
I am using Safari 4 Public Beta (5528.17) -
Inappropriate?Same as here. Once "site info" is enable, Safari freezes.

Inappropriate?I just installed the test build and Safari no longer crashes. However, I don't see the new button anywhere. The Enable Site Info box is checked, and I've restarted Safari several times.

Inappropriate?Great! I'm glad that it's working. This button is known not to show up in Safari 4 (yet, we're working on it) - but it wasn't supposed to crash the browser, of course.

Where can i get version 1.2.1 of Xmarks? Can't find it :( -
Inappropriate?Same problem also with Safari 4 release version, not just with the Beta
I’m very disappointed!!!

Inappropriate?Yo,
Running xmarks 1.2.0 on Safari 4.0 (5530.17) and 10.5.7.
Xmarks installed properly and works fine for me, but when I log onto another user account on this computer I get the SIMBL error and have to force-quit. I didn't really want xmarks installed for this user anyway.
Will 1.2.1 resolve this or not? I don't want to install it if I don't have to since the current install is working just fine on my account and I don't want to mess that up.
Let me know if you need additional info.
Thanks,
S.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Same Problem in Safari 4.0.1. It breaks. When I try to open it says Safari quit unexpectedly and it may be due to AcidSearch plug-in. When I uninstall Xmarks, it works again.
I’m sad
