Automatic syncronization, how does it work?
I have Automatic Synchronization enabled on several of my machines running Firefox with Foxmarks installed.
However, I still get the little icon in the status bar indicating I have un-synchronized bookmarks.
Just how does Automatic Synchronization really work? When I add a bookmark on one machine, I thought it would upload to the server and then download to the other machines?

Inappropriate?it has a 15 minute (I think) delay before it syncs the change to the server after you modify the local bookmarks (to allow you to change several bookmarks close after each other without a sync after each change)
and it normally checks once each hour if the server side bookmarks are changed
so you have a 75 minute max delay for bookmarks to change through -

ratchet freak gets it pretty much right, though the delay should only be 5 minutes. -
I wasn't sure so I took the larger value :)
