I want to share my bookmark with my colleague so I uploaded my bookmark and removed my private bookmarks. However, I don't want my colleague to restore my private bookmark from backup.

We currently don't have a "purge" feature for backups. In order to keep your privacy, I would just export your edited bookmarks to an HTML file. Your colleague can then import the HTML file into his browser. You can do so by logging into my.xmarks.com, Clicking Tools->Export to HTML. From there you can just email him the file, and he can import it.
