Can't Sync Foxmarks, Please Help
Been trying for a while to fix this and searched through a few answers which haven't helped me. I haven't been able to sync Foxmarks for a while from my home computer. Oddly when i was visiting my parents it and used their PC the sync went perfectly. I mention my "home computer" because i just (literally) built a new system and have Foxmarks as my only Firefox add on at the moment and it still doesn't work, so this problem has spanned 2 PCs.
I've been getting Sync Error #3. Last night looking through solutions to other problems i tried uploading to the Foxmarks server which completed successfully. Trying to download from or sync with the server did not. I've also tried all 3 "connection security" settings to no avail. Any help that could be provided would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

I’m sad. Well, sad is a strong word. In the scheme of things it's no biggie, but i was really digging Foxmarks and would love for it to work.

Inappropriate?Chris I am also getting the ERROR MESSAGE 3 under the following conditions.
I have been a foxmarks user for quite some time on my PC's and just recently have been participating in the Beta Test of Firefox for Safari on the Mac.
Today I installed the Beta foxmarks for IE on three of my PC's, three XP and one Vista. During initial setup I always set the Sync settings to "Keep Favorites on the server; discard those on computer" selected since I want all of my computers initially synced to the same set of bookmarks on the foxmarks server.
All of my bookmarks are synchronized to the foxmarks server between the four PC's with Internet Explorer browser and the Safari browser on my Mac.
NOW FOR THE PROBLEM: I can no longer sync bookmarks on any of my Firefox Browsers, thats on the 4 PC's and Mac. Again, I can sync just fine with Safari on the Mac with the existing set of bookmarks stored on the server.
When trying to Sync the Firefox bookmarks on (all computers) I get an error message that says: Unknown error occurred (3) We just encountered an unknown error(number is 3).
Like Chris, PLEASE HELP

Inappropriate?I'd have to see the output of your foxmarks.log to be more certain of the underlying cause, but usually Unknown Error (3) is caused by corruption of your Firefox profile folder. Some solutions are bandied about in this topic (and the one linked to):
