Dead link checker
I know that Xmarks has the duplicate bookmark thing, how about a dead link checker? If it's enabled, tag (not delete!) bookmarks that either lead to a 404, some dodgy search engine, or various things like that.
I'd also set it to not do it automatically, as some people have huge amounts of bookmarks that would slow it down every sync.
One other thing: Also set it up that it checks the dead-tagged ones every sync, as sometimes they magically reappear online.

Inappropriate? This is a feature we've been pondering for a while, but haven't gotten around to it yet. There have been some dead link checker extensions for Firefox in the past, though, so you might consider looking on Mozilla's add-ons site to see if there's something that will suit your needs.
In the meantime, though, we'll keep it on our to-do list. Thanks for the suggestion! -

Inappropriate?I've searched and searched for one. I never found one except AM-Deadlink and because it hasn't been updated, IIRC, have to manually export the bookmarks, run them through, and then put them back.
I’m figuring oh well
