different pins in passwords
Is it possible that the pin is hashed with the passwords? When I sync my passwords, a few times I get a popup about a wrong pin, and when I enter a previously used one it continues the next few, then asks again where I need the first pin then... I'd like to somehow reset that behaviour, i.e. have the same pin on all passwords...

Inappropriate? The PIN is indeed used to encrypt the password data, but since resetting the PIN should delete all password data on the Foxmarks server, I'm not sure how you could get into a situation where there are multiple PINs encoded into your password data. (Please let us know if you have a good way to reproduce that behavior.)
To fix this, I think all you need to do is synchronize everything up, then upload your data to the Foxmarks server via:
Tools > Foxmarks > Settings, "Advanced": "Upload" -
Inappropriate?Perhaps that can happen when two browsers on different PCs are open? I usually leave my browser at work running... I tried your method and I'll see tomorrow at work.

Inappropriate?Having two computers synchronizing at the same time shouldn't affect things--if the PIN were updated, the server version would be reset, and the computer left unattended would try to sync and fail due to the PIN changing.
It's certainly *possible* to have different PIN encodings, but I just can't figure out how the Foxmarks extension would allow that to happen. -
Inappropriate?I also have a similar problem... but i don't have two computers running at the same time. there was one time that i got a popup about a wrong pin, i introduce the first pin that i had and the popup didn't go away, so, i created a new one hoping that the first would be deleted... Now, i need to introduce always the first pin before the second to have my passwords synchronized everytime i install the firefox add-on in a new computer.

Inappropriate?Bruno Santos: Have you tried resetting your PIN under Tools > Xmarks > Settings, "Sync": "Reset PIN"? I think that might get things working again, though you'll need to enter the new PIN on all computers once you've reset it.
