foxmarks to xmarks on mac os 10.3.9 and firefox 2.0.0.20
I'm trying to convert from foxmarks to xmarks using firefox 2.0.0.20 on mac os 10.3.9. I'm getting an error message saying that xmarks cannot be installed with my version of firefox. If this is true, can I just keep using foxmarks, which works fine?

Inappropriate?Firefox 2 is not supported with our new Xmarks add-on, and as you have pointed out, Xmarks will not install on this version. For your reference, the last supported version of Foxmarks for Firefox 2 is located here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire...
You may continue to use the Foxmarks add-on in the future, as long as we continue to support this service. Something to note, Firefox 2 support was officially dropped by Mozilla in December of 2008. -
Inappropriate?Thank you. I'd love to update my version of Firefox, but alas my computer at work uses an old Mac OS that cannot be updated (we use it to run hypercard in the classic environment, yet another unsupported and outdated program).
