Getting rid of duplicates?
It is driving me crazy with all duplicate bookmarks I get in Firefox. have tried Xmarks, but don't find any options for tidy it up and remove dead links and duplicates.
Please help! otherwise I have to erase this huge bookmarkfile!!

I'll go ahead and email you at the address although if we can address your issue here, it will help other people in the future who have the same issue.
It sounds like you're looking for a utility to clean up your bookmarks by removing duplicate links and dead links. This type of functionality is something we hope to do in the future, but Xmarks does not currently have that functionality. -
Inappropriate?My Xmarks aka Foxmarks are insane from merges. I have at least 4 of every bookmark and duplicate folders that are starting to open with bookmarks from other folders.
What happened to being able to open "Organize" & drag the bookmarks from one column into the folder one wanted to keep then delete the dupes? That was a good feature of Foxmarks. I see no functionality in the Organize window now just two columns with no function beyond viewing the mess.
Help Please
I would be great if a program like the free "Duplicate Cleaner" would seek & allow to destroy these like it does other files on the computer.
