Having both Safari & Firefox open at same time ?
Is it safe to have BOTH Safari & Firefox open at the same time (with Xmarks installed in both)?
I use each browser for different kinds of things and sometimes both will be open. But I've noticed that in the Xmarks for Safari log, it sometimes has an entry that says "Ignore event - more than one client". I wasn't sure what this was referring to and thought maybe the two browsers were conflicting with each other and confusing Xmarks.
Another log entry that I was trying to figure out the meaning of was "Skipping Apple bookmark sync notification; probable echo from Foxmarks sync"
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Inappropriate?Hi Michelle, I'm happy to say that it is safe to have both the Safari and Firefox versions open at the same time. The two are quite independent. The Safari app's log is referring to other instances of Xmarks for Safari, and is listening for Apple Sync events (which have nothing to do with Firefox, and are often red herrings).
