How do I backup my bookmarks with Foxmarks?
Every time I try to do this it drives me insane. I log into Foxmarks, I have the option of synching this or that, sharing, previewing, etc., and I can never figure out how to just back up my damn bookmarks. Can't there be a simple button "Backup bookmarks"? I'm a completely computer-literate person, and this really aggravates the crap out of me.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Inappropriate?By "syncing" it, it's actually on the server, so it is backed up.
You sure you're so computer literate?

Inappropriate?mryan: If you're synchronizing successfully, your bookmarks are backed up to the Xmarks (and Foxmarks) server. You can confirm this at http://my.xmarks.com/ under the "Explore & Restore" feature.

Inappropriate?I think he means backing up to a local file in case the bookmarks locally and remotely go belly up.
I am new to this (only today) and I would suggest back up the bookmarks from firefox itself, (bookmarks > organise bookmarks) and use the Import and Backup option there, it saves out to a JSON file though and I have no idea what that is, I imagine a proprietry firefox file type.
