How do I change the frequency of syncing?
Foxmarks seems to sync on my Mac very frequently. Is there a way to set it to be less frequent - say, once a day?

Inappropriate? This notion is briefly covered in a related topic, but I should warn you it's only for more advanced OS X users. If that's not enough to scare you off, check it out here:

I should also point out that changing the interval won't actually fix things if Xmarks is erroneously noticing changes--it will continue to synchronize every 60 seconds after it identifies a change to your bookmark collection.
If that's the case, turning off automatic synchronization and occasionally synchronizing manually is probably the best solution for you. -
Inappropriate?Yes! I have the same issue. I wanna sync way less often. If you let me set my own interval, I would probably do it once every 10 or 15 MINUTES not seconds. Jeez. Please let us sync less often!
Looks like people keep posting the same request about wanting to sync LESS, and you keep posting that you didn't include this as a user configuration settings because you are afraid of people syncing MORE.
Over those years, have you learned to READ the user's comment, not just blindly REPLY to them?
Seems like both the users and the administrators want the same thing: less load by reducing unnecessary syncing. Now if you could only get the DEVELOPERS on board!
Or at least replace the people who don't read the feedback properly with ones who actually give a damn. Sorry for being harsh, but this thread is SIX MONTHS OLD.
And in all this time, NOTHING.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I'm pretty amazed this isn't configurable. Xmarks makes my firefox almost unusable when it's syncing, so every 15 minutes is way too often.
