Inappropriate? For security purposes, password data isn't available at http://my.xmarks.com/
-
so how does one get them? Just by installing XMARKS on their new/other computer? -
Inappropriate?Yeah, if you synchronize another Firefox browser against the Xmarks server, then it should pick up the passwords from the server and install them in that browser.

Inappropriate?Here's the answer: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire...
This is a plugin to Mozilla Firefox, which writes all passwords onto a text file.
Enjoy! -
Inappropriate?Eric,
That still doesn't answer how I can see the passwords like you could in FoxMarks, so I can remove the one that got hacked.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Mark & Moonie,
If you have the password stored in Firefox on one of your computers, simply go to Firefox Options > Security Tab and click the "Saved Passwords..." button. Next click the "Show Passwords" button in the bottom right. Firefox will ask you if you are sure - click yes.
Now you can see a list of all sites you have stored passwords for and the specific password for each site.
Note that this is a Firefox feature and has nothing to do with Xmarks. Xmarks only stored your passwords in encrypted form and this cannot decrypt or display them. -
Inappropriate? How do I get Xmarks to restore my passwords? I set it up to save them, but when I got the new computer, the passwords were not restored.

Inappropriate?Hey mrbarnard,
Do you have password sync enabled on your new computer? You can enable password sync here:
Firefox->Tools->Xmarks->Xmarks Settings->Sync Tab->Passwords
Enter your PIN, and you should be all set. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks
