Very simple question indeed :)

I shall interpret everyone's eagerness as an incredibly kind and subtle form of praise for Xmarks. :)
Firefox 3.5b4 is intended for add-on developers to test compatability for extensions, so with its release we're starting our compatability tests and looking to shake out any bugs. We don't anticipate any problems, but since most Xmarks users value their bookmark data dearly, we prefer to err on the side of safety.
If you're happy snubbing your nose in the face of safety, though, you can disable the Firefox extension compatability check. Note that Mozilla does not recommend disabling the compatability check! (And we at Xmarks aren't encouraging you to do so, either.) Again, if you like to live the risky life, you can disable it via the about:config setting extensions.checkCompatibility (set it to false).
If you encounter any problems with Xmarks in Firefox 3.5b4, please post details here on Get Satisfaction!

Inappropriate?Thanks Eric, that's helpful ! :)
And you're absolutely right assuming we all love xmarks ! Since I discovered it I can't live without it.
I'll post comments here if xmarks causes me any problems with FX 3.5 beta 4.
I’m satisfied

Inappropriate?Thanks Eric
Without xmarks I was thinking of going back to 3.1b3
To help people wanting to do this - you have to add "extensions.checkCompatibility" as a new boolean, it doesn't exist by default - took me a couple of mins wondering why my config didn't have the correct option.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I must be slow.....or dumb.....possibly both. I couldn't find the option either but I'm afraid frozenghost's solution escapes me, too. Can you help a clutz? Where am I adding "extensions.checkCompatibility"?
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?1. In your address bar, type "about:config" (remember, no quotes). You’ll receive a warning box that says anything you do here might void your warranty. Click the button that says you’ll promise to behave.
2. Once the configuration page loads, right click anywhere within the configuration options list and select "New" and then select "Boolean" from the choices given.
3. The next box that pops will ask you to "Enter the preference name". Enter: "extensions.checkCompatibility" (without quotes). Then click OK.
4. Another box will pop up asking you to choose the Boolean value. Select "False" and click OK. Your new statement should now appear in the list of configuration options.
5. Restart your browser and all your incompatible add-ons should now be working with 3.5.

Inappropriate?I have been using xmarks with Fx 3.5b4 since yesterday without a glitch. Works and Syncs like a charm guys, thx much !
I’m really glad

Inappropriate?Xmarks 3.10 + FF 3.5b4 = FF always gives an option to remember the password... This was also the case with initial Xmarks release and FF 3.1b3. Any ideas?
-
Inappropriate? It may not be recommended but that probably doesn't matter a lot to people who play with Beta software, anyway. And it works just fine! I thank you for the solution. Xmarks is invaluable to me.

Inappropriate?Xmarks should be compatible with 3.5.* without any changes now.
Gagan, if you're still having trouble with the login issue, try clearing out and re-entering your Xmarks username and password after confirming that they're the same that you can login at https://login.xmarks.com/
