I want to use Xmarks manually on occasion, but it keeps popping up automataically. How do I shut off the automatic features of it?

Hey Dave,

To turn off Auto-sync, go to:

Firefox->Tools->Xmarks->Xmarks Settings->Sync Tab

and un-check auto-sync. If you want the benefit of your bookmarks syncing automatically, you can also check "remember this password between sessions" so that Xmarks won't pop-up an authentication window each time it tries to sync automatically.

I had the same issue, but remember this password has been checked, and auto-sync is unchecked, yet the loginto xmarks window keeps popping up every five minutes or less, and you have to kill it several times, but it still won't die. It keeps coming back! Agh.........
