Immortal Bookmarks and the Unsorted Bookmark Vault
I recently upgraded to FireFox3 and I find that I cannot delete existing bookmarks. These appear as they did in my "Bookmark" pull down menu but do not appear in the "Library" window when "organize bookmarks" is selected. What appears is a folder? named "unsorted bookmarks" which cannot be opened. When existing bookmarks are selected, a hollow blue star appears next to the address. If this star is clicked once, a duplicate bookmark is created (which can be deleted). However, if the "hollow" star is double clicked, a bookmark edit opens. Selecting "remove bookmark" does not delete this existing bookmark. How do I delete these bookmarks?

Inappropriate? As I mentioned in reply to your other post, I think your bookmark store might possibly be corrupted. It's weird, though, that these bookmarks would show up in your bookmark menu but not when you visit the Bookmark Organizer.
Generally if the hollow blue star shows up, that means that the site is NOT bookmarked, so it's strange that you get to those by visiting bookmarks.
Ultimately, this sounds like a problem with Mozilla's Firefox rather than with Foxmarks, so you'll need to check their support pages for help:
