INVALID security CERTIFICATE
Oops. I put this in the wrong place. So I'll cuss and paste <wink>.
Recently began having this problem.
********************
discover.foxmarks.com:443 uses an invalid security certificate.
This certificate is only valid for *.xmarks.com
(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)
This could be a problem with the server's configuration or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server.
If you have connected to this server successfully in the past the error may be temporary and you can try again later.
**********************
I use 5 computers. One is OsX 10.3.X, OsX 10.4.X, Vista/64, Vista/32, XP. Same problem on all of them.
Same popup.
This is nauseating. But worse is that this popup occurs and then I have to click either "view certificate," or "cancel," and lose the bookmark. So then I have to disable Foxmarks, reboot, use firefox to go back to the tabs I had open, bookmark, open addons, enable Foxmarks, and synch.
This is too much hassle. I might be better off if I use a thumbdrive and carried my bookmarks on that.
stupid software.</wink>
