Latest chrome build broke xmarks
Since I updated chrome to 6.0.447.0 xmarks stopped working (clicking the menu items does nothing). Since I saw nothing in "known bugs", I thought I should report. It stll works for firefox (I tried) so it's browser specific.

I use Chrome 5.0375.86 and windows 7 netbook and I can't get xmarks to sync. Haven't been able to sync for several months. It just says an error has occured.

I just switched to Chrome from Firefox and have a similar problem. It says "An error occurred" or "Error during Compare".

Please, XMarks, fix this! I'd really hate to have to use Chrome's built in bookmark syncing, as it's not cross-browser portable!

Indeed confirmed for me too. Does not work with Chrome 6.0.447.0.

I confirm. Xmarks doesn't sync in Chrome 5.0375.86 or newer on Windows 7.

Hey guys,
I just noticed this too, something about the latest Chrome dev release definitely broke Xmarks. I'm not sure what's up, but I'm investigating it right now.

I have the same problem, I cannot sync and I am on the same versions as Diffio. Any sync attempt gives an Error. There are no errors in the log, just says "Invalid response number: 3"

I found the solution. First of all, update Xmarks and Chrome, then go to Xmarks Setting - Advanced - Download. That's it :) You can sync now :)
