No "Passwords" option in "Sync Profiles"
Hello,
I would like to choose some passwords to sync.
The problem is that I see no "Passwords" option in drop down menu of "Sync Profiles".
What is wrong?

Inappropriate?have you all signed up for the beta password sync tester @ http://beta.foxmarks.com/welcome
if not that's the problem -
Inappropriate?Beta version?
I have a version automagically updated from Firefox menu.
I don't want Firefox (3.0.3) to update my plugins to theirs beta versions.
How to do that?
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?go to the site and sign up for the beta version of the password sync and follow the dirrections
here's the link: http://beta.foxmarks.com/program/pass...

this solves the problem

Inappropriate?Yep, after signing up to "beta testing" the drop down option "Passwords" shows up, but it really IS quite weird, because I did in fact sign up to beta testing of officialy stable release v2.5.0 which is not beta anymore.
I would say that FF extension should turn that on for me when starting syncing passwords.
I’m confused
-
Inappropriate?yes, it's officially announced then we shouldn't need to try beta otherwise why to mention it as a new feature in 2.5 version of foxmarks ?
-
Inappropriate?Sorry for the confusion....
Our webservers at my.foxmarks.com were running old code which would only enable password profiles for people who were in the beta program. We're in the process of fixing this, and this functionality should be available shortly.
Beta versions of our Firefox extension are not being pushed out to anyone automatically. This was an issue with the my.foxmarks.com web site, not with the Firefox extension.
I’m sheepish.

Well, thanks for an explanation. I know these things just sometimes happen.
I entered your "beta program" in the meantime, should I do anything to leave it again or are you going to disband it now (after releasing stable version) anyway? -
Don't worry about leaving the betaprogram unless you want to avoid any emails we might send to beta testers asking for feedback. -
Inappropriate? This should be fixed now--let us know if you notice the problem return!
Thanks!

Inappropriate?Great! I wasn't using foxmarrks thinking that Mozila weave would do the work but inter portability between different browsers mainly Chrome / Firefox would be an added feature and also, the people behind foxmarks team is also impressive and then i decided to use it few weeks back and it's surely a great tool especially when i have purchased an ASUS netbook!
Not having passwords was very inconvenient i realized and it has solved that problem. Hope to see Google Chrome support soon and it will be a perfect companion.
