password synch not merging
I'm trying the beta password synchronizer.
After it asks whether I want to merge or overwrite my local passwords and I say merge it never finishes.
Any idea what's up?

Hi rsanders, this is a known issue in version (2.2.0.14) and was fixed in a new release. Try getting the latest version from here and let us know how it goes.

Now that you have version 2.2.0.15, Firefox will alert you whenever a new update is available. Simply agree to upgrade and you'll always have the latest version.
One thing to realize is that update notices for our beta products will be much more frequent than regular products - simply because of the nature of betas.

Inappropriate?I seem to have this problem with version 2.6.0. I uploaded passwords from a computer where I have set a masterpassword in firefox. Sync never stops spinning when I try to merge on another computer which does not have a masterpassword. Is that related to the problem?1 Comment Add a comment

Chuck: It sounds like your password store may be corrupted on the computer that "never stops spinning". Try creating a fresh Firefox profile and see if that helps at all:
