Save Xmarks password between sessions in cookie!
I hate to enter my password for Xmarks every time I open Firefox. I hate to enter it every time I want to syncronize too, so deactivating automated sync is not going to help. And I really do not want to save passwords at all in Firefox, that's a clearly no-go, because that's one of the biggest security issues on Firefox. (If anyone gets to my computer he can access all my passwords - no, I don't want that. And no - a master password wouldn't help because I'd need to enter that instead of the Xmarks password every time I sync. No improvement.)
Why can't the Xmarks plugin save it's password in a cookie between sessions? Really, it would improve that a lot.
(I mean, I let CookieCuller kill all cookies on close, but you can make exceptions for specified cookies. So I would set up a rule for the Xmarks cookie...)
(Oh, and by the way, please change the German translation for "Remember this password between sessions." - "Merken Sie sich dieses Passwort." is no appropriate translation. Only appears in the password prompt, NOT in the settings box, where it is translated correctly as "Dieses Passwort zwischen den Sitzungen merken.")

Inappropriate?I have x-marks with the password enabled and it still does not save any of my passwords like lastpass does.
I have to type my password in continuously while I have firefox open.
I am about ready to delete my account and get something else to save my bookmarks.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?[Possible Solution]
I was having this problem, too. The Xmarks plugin stores your password in Firefox's password manager. So you'll have to make sure that (1) FF has 'remember passwords for sites' enabled, and (2) FF isn't set to delete stored passwords at the end of every session. Changing those setting resolved the issue for me, and I never have to enter my Xmarks password anymore.
