Songbird Support!
Will there be support for Songbird in the future?
I think adding a 'Bookmarks' Menu option to Songbird and the ability to sink your bookmarks to Songbird would be greatly appreciated!
Soon Songbird will replace my Firefox (along with iTunes once some more features are added) and I would love for a Foxmarks port into Songbird!

Inappropriate?The Songbird software I'm aware of doesn't have a web browser built into it. Are you looking at the same thing I am?

Inappropriate?Doesn't have a web browser?? Apparently you haven't heard of Songbird before. It has Firefox built right into it! It is based on Mozilla and Gecko code. Take a stab at it.. Its a fantastic media player!
As you can see by the feature list it does have a web browser: http://www.getsongbird.com/features/
I don't think it would be too hard for the Foxmarks team to port an addon for it.. Take a look at the add-ons already available for it: http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addons or take a look in the 'Web Browser' category: http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addons...
As you can see many of the popular Firefox add-ons are already there. Hopefully you guys can catch up : )

Inappropriate?Thanks for pointing that out--I can see how I overlooked the one section labeled "web browser" in all the other features.
If it's based on Mozilla, there's a very good chance that it hasn't changed enough to not be compatible with Foxmarks already. Have you tried installing the Foxmarks extension therein yet? -
Inappropriate?Yes I have tried. I downloaded and modified the extension to the specifications found here: http://wiki.songbirdnest.com/Develope... and the only error I got when installing once was "Signing could not be verified. -260" (which made it not able to install). So I did some Googleing and deleted the 'META-INF' folder, and it installed! Everything 'looks' ok... It just doesnt work :) There are menu entries, icons, and syncing messages in the status bar. Its just once I try to use the Setup wizard, The 'Next' and 'Cancel' buttons don't work so I can't really do anything...

So ya... its a start, but I'm sure you guys could very easily see where you can fix/make it work...

Inappropriate?I've been looking for this too. My Foxmarks in Songbird couldn't connect to the Foxmarks ("Xmarks") website, but installed just fine. Please port over, having just one set of bookmarks would be awesome.
