Sync error (changeset) in Safari 4 & 3
In another topic (Safari 4 Beta) I reported a changeset error message in Safari 4 and 3. Eric advised Download to resolve. I had previously reported that was not successful, but tried again. Results unchanged (i.e, changeset error 0). Eric also advised advised consulting another topic (Error: Unable to get remote changeset). It contained no additional guidance. Eric also advised starting a new topic if the problem was unresolved. Hence this post.

Inappropriate?Update: problem solved. Uninstalled Safari 3 and reinstalled Safari 3. Subsequent sync successful.
I’m relieved

Inappropriate?1. stop Foxmarks for Safari
2. remove (or move to other place) the directory ~/Library/Foxmarks
3. restart Foxmarks for Safari
Found that under another entry here. Solved the problem for me. Works in Safari 3 and 4 -
Thanks Jim, this solved my problem on my iMac (PPC). But I had to restart the Mac before this functioned. -
Inappropriate?Well, cool, marking as Solved, then! Sorry my suggestions elsewhere didn't help!

Inappropriate?Yes, it's fixed. Had to remove old settings in /Library and everything works.
I’m happy
