Can you post the last 10-20 lines of your logfile? You can open it here:
Xmarks Settings->Advanced->Show logfile
Hopefully we can get you back up and running quickly.

Can you first try a manual Download? This will overwrite your browser bookmarks with what is contained on our servers, so make sure to double check my.xmarks.com first.
Xmarks Settings->Advanced->Download
If that doesn't clear the error, you've most likely got a corrupted Firefox profile.
You can create a new one with the directions here:
