URL in incorrect format? XMarks
URL in incorrect format? Xmarks used on 2 networked machines both have IE and Firefox. The desktop (XP) syncs everything OK. The laptop (Vista) works fine with iE but when sync tried in Firefox, get message: "The URL you typed for using your own server is in an incorrect format." I didn't type in any URL!
Any suggestions? I assume this is a simple problem caused during setup?

Inappropriate?Hey Charles,
That warning message that you're seeing is for a bookmark and password URL used when someone is syncing with their own Webdav or FTP server. I assume you are wanting to sync with our servers, so open Xmarks Settings:
( Firefox->Tools->Xmarks->Xmarks Settings->Advanced Tab )
Once you're there, uncheck the "use own server" check box. Switch to the "Status" tab, and enter your Xmarks username and password. Then you can "Sync Now." That should get you up and running.
