What really happens when i syncronize?
I read through FAQ but couldnt find what im looking for. I want details on how the syncronization is done. Which one of the following is true, please elaborate with details :)
When i do a sync:
a) my local bookmarks overrides my foxmarks bookmarks
b) my foxmark bookmarks overrides my lokal bookmarks
c) a diff is made and new local bookmarks are added to foxmark and vice versa
or what really happens?
Thaks for a great plugin!

Inappropriate?the first time you sync bookmarks with a newly installed foxmarks version you get the choice of what to do
(overwriting either bookmarks sets is self explanatory)
if you choose to merge the bookmarks together you get the choice of what becomes the base bookmarks set and foxmarks tries to match each folder from the other set to one in the base set if there isn't one it is just added to the new hierarchy (no bookmark will ever be lost by this method) this can produce duplicates though
for normal routine sync the standard is C (diff made and both sets updated)
though you can choose to overwrite either the local bookmarks (b) or the server bookmarks (a) by going to foxmarks settings -> advanced and pressing download or upload resp. -
Yeah, what ratchet freak said. :)
